How I became a real estate agent. A true story
I am so glad to have the opportunity to share with you some of my thoughts and lessons learnt throughout all my working years.
Almost 20 years ago, I was living in Romania, with my family. Graduating from an Economics college, me and my husband started to research the real estate market for investments. This is how we start to learn a little bit of the laws involved, of what it takes to be a landlord, to rent and manage your own apartments.
One day, we get this big news, that we won the visa lottery for United States. Mixed feelings, worries and happiness, of course, and this is how we moved to Chicago. My husband started to work constructions and we thought about real state and ways to invest.
Within a number of years we went from tenants to apartment owners, house owners and landlords. At a certain point, as I was getting familiar with the real estate market and its laws, I decided to get my real estate license. Since then, I came across so many different type of situations. I could put myself in anybody's shoes and I could openly say that real estate for me fit as a glove. I am sociable so I like working with people; I am a mother so I was able to have a flexible schedule for raising my children(they are big boys now :); I never get tired answering the clients' questions as I strongly encourage them to get educated as that is a gain for both us; and I like to help and here it is where I can make a difference.
Call me for any real estate related questions! I am more that happy to answer them.
May all of your days be healthy and blessed!
